History will be made on Friday the 6th April when the Burnside Heights Football Club’s and the Hillside Football Club’s inaugural Women’s teams take the field in Round 1 of the EDFL Women’s competition.

This will also be the first time that the Bears and Sharks have met in Senior football for premiership points.

The game kicks off at 7.30pm and we hope plenty of people will join us to cheer on the girls. Ernie’s grill will be fired up, our canteen and bar will be open for refreshments and our jumping castle will be up to keep the kids occupied.

As Major Sponsors of both clubs WestWaters Hotel and Entertainment Complex will be providing a ‘WestWaters Cup’ as a perpetual trophy for this and future clashes between the teams.

Earlier in the night our Under 18’s Girls begin their season with a clash against Moonee Valley at 6.00pm where we will see plenty of our future women’s stars in action.
